Springtime has sprung!  The renewal of life that we see all around us reminds us that life is precious, as our eye sight is precious.  Yearly eye exams are crucial in not only maintaining the clearest vision, but also in early detection of eye diseases which can threaten your vision.

Wearing UV protecting glasses year round decreases your risk of macular degeneration and your risk of early cataracts.   During your eye exam, Drs. Kam and Ching can detect early signs of ultraviolet radiation damage in your eyes.

For those of you with babies, the American Optometric Association now recommends a well baby eye exam for every baby by about six months of age. Drs. Kam and Ching can detect cataracts, significant amounts of nearsightedness, farsightness, astigmatism, and 'lazy eye', among other eye conditions, in babies.

We are also certified in CRT technology to correct nearsightedness without surgery. Our twelve year old son and fourteen year old daughter are both successful CRT wearers. They wear their CRT lenses at night, and after they remove them the next morning, they are free of glasses for the entire day. They are so pleased to not have to wear glasses during  basketball, baseball, and cheerleading!
 

Our Optometrists will perform a corrective laser consultation at no charge to help determine if you would be a good candidate for the procedures.

We also offer the latest in digital spectacle lens technology with wavefront applications designed to custom correct your vision. You will attain the clearest vision possible. Our digital retinal camera gives us the ability to photograph the inside of your eyes. We also use computer assisted software programs to educate you on your specific eye conditions!

We are always implementing the newest contact lens materials into our contact lens fitting programs. The silicon hydromel polymer lenses have revolutionized the contact lens industry with their amazing level of comfort. They are now available in one day disposable, custom astigmatic designs, and multifocal powers for those bifocal users.

We have an extensive selection of quality, high fashion eyeglass frames. We are thrilled to now be carrying the "Calvin Klein" collection which offers classic frames with a new wave flare. We feature the elegant "Vera Wang", "Coach" and "Juicy Couture", "Banana Republic", and "Fendi" designer lines of ophthalmic and sunglass frames. You can also check out our sample of the new "Driver" lens, the only polarized photochromic lens that darken outside as well as behind the windshield of the car.
